While it is stressful to fully relocate to another country, leaving friends and family behind, it is also a very exciting journey. How did Reasunta help you with both acclimatization and bureaucracy?
Reasunta helped me acclimatize by organizing social gatherings every month, which gave me a chance to meet other people who had also relocated to Prague. This helped me feel less isolated and more connected to my new community.
Reasunta also helped me with bureaucracy by handling all of the visa paperwork and other administrative tasks involved in relocating to a new country. This was a huge relief, as it allowed me to focus on other things, such as finding a job and settling into my new home.

You mentioned that both the company and the team are very nice and supportive. What specific things did they do to help you during your first months?
My manager made sure to check in with me regularly and ask me how I was doing. He was also very open to feedback and suggestions. My teammates were also very helpful and welcoming. They were always willing to answer my questions and help me out with any tasks I was struggling with.
Overall, I felt very supported by both the company and the team during my first months in Prague.

You said that you haven't had any big problems yet, but that you're sure there will always be a good solution to any problems that may arise. Can you give me an example of a small problem that you did have and how it was solved?
One small problem I had was that I couldn't find a place to buy my favorite brand of coffee beans. I mentioned this to my manager, and he was able to put me in touch with a Czech colleague who knew where to find them.
This is just a small example, but it shows that the company is always willing to go the extra mile to help its employees.

Moving to a new country with no connections can be quite stressful, especially after a long flight. How did the beauty of Prague and the support from Kristina help to mitigate this stress?
The beauty of Prague was immediately apparent to me when I arrived. The city is full of stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and lively streets. This helped me to feel more at ease in my new surroundings.
Kristina's support was also invaluable. She was always there to answer my questions and help me with whatever I needed. For example, she helped me to find an apartment, open a bank account, and get settled into my new home.

You mentioned that knowing any other Slavic language will make your life much easier in Prague, even if you don't speak Czech yet. Can you explain why this is?
Many Slavic languages are similar to each other, so if you know one Slavic language, it will be easier to learn Czech. For example, Russian and Polish are both very similar to Czech.
Even if you don't fluently speak another Slavic language, knowing a few basic words and phrases can be very helpful. For example, if you know how to say "hello," "thank you," and "excuse me," you will be able to communicate with people in basic situations.

You haven't started your Czech language courses yet, but you mentioned that the most basics are learned within a few days. Can you give me some examples of basic Czech phrases that are easy to learn?
Here are a few examples of basic Czech phrases that are easy to learn: Dobrý den (hello), Děkuji (thank you), Prosím (please), Ano (yes), Ne (no), Nashledanou (goodbye)
You can also learn the Czech alphabet, which is very similar to the English alphabet. Once you know the alphabet, you will be able to pronounce Czech words more accurately.
